Instructions

  • Start by preparing the ingredients to make about 12 skewers. Cut the meat into chunks about 1 cm wide and 2 cm long.
  • Squeeze the lemon and mix the juice obtained in a shallow dish with the olive oil, a generous pinch of salt, and finely chopped rosemary.
  • Let the turkey chunks marinate in the mixture for about 30 minutes, covering them and keeping them cool. Remember to turn the meat occasionally to ensure an even marinade.
  • After marinating, drain the chunks well without discarding the remaining liquid and thread them onto the skewers, alternating them, if desired, with rosemary leaves for a more intense flavor.
  • Heat a grill, griddle, or non-stick pan thoroughly.
  • Cook the skewers until they are well browned on all sides, making sure the meat is cooked but still juicy inside.
  • Once ready, quickly pass the skewers in the remaining marinade to further flavor them before serving.

Notes

For an original touch and an added Mediterranean flavor, you can enrich the marinade with a teaspoon of honey and a few drops of balsamic vinegar before cooking the skewers. Additionally, you can alternate the turkey pieces with zucchini or bell pepper cubes on the same skewer for a more colorful and nutritious skewer.
