Ingredients

  • 60 g Gin Dry
  • 60 g Brandy Apricot
  • 60 g Calvados

Instructions

  • Take a shaker and fill it with ice to chill.
  • Carefully pour the Gin Dry, Apricot Brandy, and Calvados into the shaker, following the indicated order.
  • Close the shaker and shake vigorously for a few seconds to mix the ingredients well and chill them.
  • Remove the ice from the shaker (if you used it only to chill) and strain the contents into an elegant, pre-chilled cocktail glass.
  • Garnish as desired with an orange twist or a maraschino cherry to add a touch of color.

Notes

To add a personal touch to this classic cocktail, you could lightly smoke the glass before pouring the drink. This can be done by burning a cinnamon stick or a cocktail wood piece and flipping the glass over the smoke for a few seconds. The smoking will add a new aromatic dimension that will perfectly complement the sweetness of the Apricot Brandy and the robustness of the Calvados.
