1. Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water following the instructions on the package.
2. Once cooked, drain the pasta and let it cool to room temperature. You can do this by sprinkling it with a veil of olive oil and turning it from time to time to prevent it from sticking.
3. Meanwhile, cut the tomatoes into cubes and put them in a bowl.
4. Add salt, pepper, and chopped basil to the tomatoes.
5. Cut the mozzarella into cubes and add it to the bowl with the tomatoes.
6. Also add the pitted black olives.
7. Pour a generous drizzle of extra virgin olive oil over the preparation and mix well to flavor all the ingredients.
8. Season the pasta with the prepared dressing, gently stirring to distribute it evenly.
9. Let the pasta rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving, so that the flavors blend well.
10. Serve the Cold Mediterranean Pasta as a main dish or as a fresh and tasty side dish.
Notes
Add some oil-packed tuna to the preparation for an extra touch of flavor.
