Mint Lemonade

  • Wash the unwaxed lemons thoroughly under running water to remove any pesticide or wax residues.
  • Cut the lemons into pieces and put them in the blender together with the mint leaves.
  • Blend until you get a smooth pulp and the lemon juice.
  • Transfer the pulp and juice obtained into a container.
  • Add sugar to taste and mix well to dissolve it completely.
  • Strain the liquid using a fine sieve or a clean cotton cloth to remove any solid residues.
  • Transfer the filtered lemonade into a pitcher and refrigerate to cool.
  • Serve the mint lemonade cold and garnish with some fresh mint leaves.

Notes

Add crushed ice for an even more refreshing version.
