Cream Puffs

Ingredients

  • 400 G Flour White Flour
  • 250 Cl Cream Whipped Cream
  • 1 Tablespoon Powder Baking Powder
  • 2 Teaspoons Salt Salt

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix the white flour, whipped cream, baking powder, and salt.
  • If the dough is too dry and doesn't hold together, add a little milk. If it's too soft, add a little flour.
  • If preferred, it's possible to substitute part of the whipped cream with olive oil to give a different flavor.
  • Shape the dough into desired shapes, with a thickness of about half a centimeter.
  • Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Sprinkle each dough with za'atar, cumin, sesame seeds, rosemary, or other seasonings as desired. It's possible to lightly prick the surface of the dough with a fork before adding the seasonings.
  • Add an olive, a piece of pepper, a rolled anchovy fillet, a piece of herring or smoked salmon, cheese, oregano and tomato sauce, a slice of hot dog or a piece of sausage, or any other preferred ingredient on top of each dough.
  • Finally, bake the dough in a preheated oven at 250°C for about 10-20 minutes, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Notes

For an extra touch, grated cheese can be added on top of the dough before baking.
