  • While you cook the pasta in salted water, put the tomatoes cut into very small pieces, chopped basil leaves, pepper and salt in a bowl.
  • Stir and add olive oil.
  • Once the pasta is cooked and drained, add it to the vegetables and serve at the table.

Notes

For an even fresher and more aromatic touch, you can add a pinch of dried oregano or a few chopped mint leaves to the raw sauce. If you prefer a creamier texture, you can blend half the tomatoes before combining them with the rest of the ingredients.
