  • Make a bread dough by mixing flour with yeast and a little water.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the dough and let rise for 2 hours.
  • Knead the dough into pizzette shapes and fry them in hot oil.
  • Make a sauce by sautéing garlic and tomatoes with a little olive oil and oregano.
  • Season the fried pizzas with the tomato sauce and decorate with gherkins and olives.

Notes

For an even lighter version, you can bake the pizzettas in the oven at 200°C for 10 minutes instead of frying them. This will not only reduce the calorie intake but also give a different and pleasant flavor. Remember to adjust the tomato sauce with salt and pepper to enhance the flavors.
