Homemade Spicy Oil: Quick & Easy Recipe

Instructions

  • Select hot peppers that are ripe but in perfect condition.
  • Wash them well, dry them and remove the stalk.
  • Cut them into slices about half a millimeter thick.
  • Place them in a glass jar.
  • Top with excellent extra-virgin olive oil.
  • Take care that they are covered completely with the oil.
  • Close the jar tightly and store it in a dry, dark place.
  • Allow to rest for at least one month.
  • Serve on pizza, spaghetti or anywhere you want a touch ... spicy.

Notes

For an even more aromatic result, you can add some herbs such as rosemary or thyme along with the chilies. Be sure to use a high-quality olive oil to preserve the intense flavor and quality of your hot oil.
