Pork Loin in Port Wine: A Simple and Delicious Recipe

Instructions

  • Finely chop the bacon along with the garlic, onion, rosemary and sage.
  • In a skillet, heat a drizzle of oil and a small piece of butter, then brown the prepared mince.
  • Add the pork loin strips and brown them well on all sides.
  • Sprinkle the meat with a little Port Wine and let it evaporate.
  • Season with salt to taste and sprinkle with a little flour.
  • Pour in the broth and cook for about 15 minutes, until the meat is tender and the sauce has thickened.
  • To finish, season with a touch of Worcester sauce.

Notes

For an even more flavorful variation, you can add a pinch of cinnamon or clove powder to the cooking sauce. These spices will add a warm and enveloping touch, perfect for fall or winter evenings. Remember to remove the loin from the heat as soon as it reaches the desired doneness to prevent it from drying out too much.
