Pagello Al Limone is a delicious fish dish made with pagello rosa, lemon, garlic, parsley, breadcrumbs, extra-virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper. The fish is scaled, cleaned, and dried, then cuts are made on the surface. The fish is then salted and peppered internally and placed on a greased baking tray with oil. A mixture of garlic, parsley, breadcrumbs, pepper, and oil is prepared and spread on both sides of the fish. Lemon slices are placed in the cuts made on the fish and around it. Finally, the fish is drizzled with the remaining oil and baked in the oven at 200 degrees for about 25 minutes.
