  • In a bowl, cream the whole eggs and egg yolks together.
  • Gradually add the powdered sugar, salt, 100 g of sugar, and vanilla sugar. Continue beating until a creamy mixture is obtained.
  • Sift the white flour mixed with wheat starch and vanilla baking powder over the cream. Mix everything together until a homogeneous dough is obtained.
  • Using two teaspoons, form small mounds of dough the size of a ladyfinger and place them on a baking sheet previously greased and lined with parchment paper. Make sure not to place them too close together.
  • Sprinkle the ladyfingers with the remaining sugar.
  • Bake the ladyfingers in the middle of a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for about 8 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Once cooked, allow the ladyfingers to cool completely before serving.

Notes

Add a dusting of cocoa powder on the ladyfingers before baking them for an extra touch of flavor.
