Homemade Ladyfingers
Ingredients
- 2 Eggs Whole Eggs
- 2 Egg Yolks Egg Yolks
- 100 G Sugar Powdered Sugar
- 120 G Sugar Sugar
- 1 Sachet Sugar Vanilla Sugar
- 200 G Flour White Flour
- 150 G Wheat Starch Wheat Starch
- 1 Pinch Salt Salt
- 1/2 Sachet Baking Powder Vanilla Baking Powder
Instructions
- In a bowl, cream the whole eggs and egg yolks together.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar, salt, 100 g of sugar, and vanilla sugar. Continue beating until a creamy mixture is obtained.
- Sift the white flour mixed with wheat starch and vanilla baking powder over the cream. Mix everything together until a homogeneous dough is obtained.
- Using two teaspoons, form small mounds of dough the size of a ladyfinger and place them on a baking sheet previously greased and lined with parchment paper. Make sure not to place them too close together.
- Sprinkle the ladyfingers with the remaining sugar.
- Bake the ladyfingers in the middle of a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for about 8 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Once cooked, allow the ladyfingers to cool completely before serving.
Notes
Add a dusting of cocoa powder on the ladyfingers before baking them for an extra touch of flavor.
