Glazed Grilled Ham

- Prosciutto Cotto Alla Brace Grilled Cooked Ham
- Senape Dolce Sweet Mustard
- Miele Honey
- Arancia Orange
- Paprica Paprika
- Zenzero Ginger
- Curry In Polvere Curry Powder
- Chiodi Di Garofano Cloves
- Fecola Cornstarch
- 1/2 Bicchiere Cognac 1/2 Glass Cognac
- Vino Bianco White Wine
- Sale Salt
- Pepe Pepper
- Olio D'oliva Olive Oil
Instructions
- Make incisions on the skin of the grilled cooked ham and insert some cloves.
- Place the ham in a baking dish and season with olive oil, salt, pepper, and a little white wine.
- Bake the ham in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 1 hour or until it is hot and golden brown.
- Meanwhile, prepare the glazed sauce. In a bowl, mix together sweet mustard, honey, paprika, grated ginger, curry powder, and grated orange zest.
- Add cornstarch to the cooking juices of the ham and mix well to avoid lumps.
- Pour the glazed sauce over the baking dish with the ham and gently mix to distribute it evenly.
- Add the cognac and continue baking the ham in the oven for another 10-15 minutes, until the sauce has thickened and the ham is well glazed.
- Remove the glazed grilled ham from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Serve the hot glazed grilled ham with your choice of side dishes.
Notes
Add slices of pineapple on top of the ham before baking it for an extra touch of sweetness.
